How does it work?
MeetGeek connects to your calendar and automatically sends a Notetaker to your Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams calls — whether you're the host or a participant. It doesn't only record: it transcribes in real time, takes notes, and captures action items live during the call. As soon as the meeting ends, your notes, summary, and highlights are generated automatically and delivered to your inbox.

What can I capture with MeetGeek, and how?
MeetGeek captures conversations four ways, and every one produces the same structured output — transcript, summary, highlights, and action items:
Notetaker (bot) — joins your scheduled Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams calls from your calendar and assists live during the meeting.
Mobile app — records in-person conversations, phone calls, and interviews. No bot needed.
Browser extension — captures browser-based meetings directly from Chrome. Bot-free and invisible to other participants.
Desktop app — records anything on your desktop, including internal calls and training sessions, with no bot joining.

What are Meeting Skills and Voice Agents?
Meeting Skills are scheduled AI that scan your conversations — one meeting or many — and deliver structured outputs like summaries, scores, rankings, reports, action items, and alerts to the tools you already use (CRM, ATS, Slack, email, Notion, ClickUp, HubSpot, and more). They can be triggered by a meeting ending, a keyword, a pattern across calls, or a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule.
Voice Agents are autonomous AI callers that handle inbound and outbound calls on their own — talking, qualifying, scheduling, and following up — so your team can focus on higher-value work. Common examples include sales, recruiting, and support agents.
What happens to my calls and who can view them?
You stay in full control of your data and permissions — nobody can access a meeting unless you share it. Recordings are stored in a private cloud environment with encryption in transit and at rest, using state-of-the-art protocols. How accurate are the transcript and notes?
If you can make sense of it, MeetGeek will too. We use state-of-the-art speech-to-text for high-quality transcripts, plus proprietary NLP for several out-of-the-box highlights. You can add your own and customize them to your business or personal needs. See Highlights & Summaries.
What conferencing tools do you support?
MeetGeek supports all three major platforms — Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams — and works with any account, free or paid. Not on one of these? You can still capture with the mobile app, the Chrome extension, the desktop app, or by uploading an audio or video file, for the same results.
Which tools can you integrate with?

Why do you request my calendar info?
Calendar data is used mainly for:
Letting the Notetaker automatically join your scheduled meetings.
Automatic sharing with teammates or customers (depending on your settings).
Meeting insights (e.g. participation ratio).

How many languages do you support?
MeetGeek supports 100+ languages with high accuracy and automatic language detection, including English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Arabic. See the full list in Language Settings.
How can I control which meetings to join?
You have several ways to control MeetGeek — turn it on or off for many meetings or specific ones, and even stop and resume mid-meeting if you want to go off the record. See How to Invite MeetGeek to a Meeting.
What happens after the hours in the plan are depleted?
Your meeting hours reset every month on your account's contractual date (the date you activated it). On Pro accounts, you can enable pay-as-you-go (PAYG) so recording continues beyond your included hours, billed at a small per-hour overage rate. If PAYG isn't enabled, you're not charged any overage. How do participants know they are being recorded?
MeetGeek displays compliant recording-consent notifications so you can record transparently and keep participants informed. Initially, only meeting participants can access the recording; they can choose to share parts of it with others. See Recording Consents.

How long does the data remain on the system?
MeetGeek applies an automated data-retention policy, and how long transcripts and audio/video are stored depends on your subscription plan. How does team meeting sharing work?

How do I manage plans for my company?
You get the most from the MeetGeek meeting assistant when it's used across your whole company. You can mix and match free and paid subscriptions based on how many calls each person handles and whether some colleagues only need access to meeting content without recording. Does MeetGeek learn over time?
We're continuously improving MeetGeek to learn from your usage and deliver a more personalized experience. While we use meeting metadata to improve the service, we don't process your transcript, video, or audio data unless you explicitly opt in. We run a program with several companies to refine the experience and AI capabilities further — if you'd like to take part, reach out.
Is there a maximum length for a single meeting?
Yes. Each plan has a maximum recording length per meeting, separate from your monthly hours allocation. For current per-meeting limits by plan, see our pricing page.
