❓ FAQ

✔️ How does it work?

MeetGeek integrates seamlessly with your calendar. It will automatically join your Zoom, Google Meet, or MS Teams meetings, regardless if you are the host or not. Notes and summaries are generated automatically for you and delivered to your inbox quickly after the call.

To get started, please check this guide here.

✔️ What makes MeetGeek better than others?

MeetGeek is a powerful meeting automation platform that enables you as an individual and collectively as a team to save time by automating meeting-related tasks and run more effective & engaging meetings.

  • With MeetGeek everything is automatic. You don’t have to click any button to start the meeting recording or create any highlights. Notes and summaries are generated automatically for you and delivered to your inbox quickly after the call.

  • Automated workflows. MeetGeek integrates with a wide range of tools, such as Slack, HubSpot, ClickUp, Notion, Jira, Zapier, and others. Use workflows to automate sharing meeting content.

  • MeetGeek is designed to seamlessly share meetings with teammates and customers. For example, if you’ve been cc-ed in a calendar invite, but have not participated, you have automatic access to the meeting minutes. You can also define teams and automatically share meetings, without requiring people to be added to the invite list. See details here

  • MeetGeek’s features are tailored to your particular needs and meeting types. You can improve your meeting structure and results by creating or reusing pre-defined meeting templates with agendas, highlights, custom words, and KPIs (Key performance indicators). Together, these features make the entire experience more personalized and relevant for you or your business. More details here.

  • Meeting insights. The platform uses advanced AI to analyze meeting dynamics, offering insights into participant engagement, sentiment analysis, and productivity trends. This can help you improve your meeting efficiency and effectiveness over time.

  • Clipping meeting content. It’s very easy to select a portion of the call and create shareable video snippets. You can capture key moments of your meetings and share them with your team.

✔️ What happens to my calls and who can view them?

Nobody except you can access data and you have full control over permissions. Your meetings are securely stored in a private cloud environment. We enforce end-to-end encryption both for data at rest and in transit, using state-of-the-art encryption protocols. MeetGeek is GDPR compliant. Check our Security Portal for more details as well as these pages: https://meetgeek.ai/security and https://meetgeek.ai/privacy.

✔️ How accurate are the transcript and notes?

If you can make sense of it, MeetGeek will too. We provide state-of-the-art speech-to-text technology enabling high-quality video notes and transcripts. Using proprietary NLP algorithms, we provide several magical out-of-the-box highlights. You can also add your own and customize it according to your business or personal needs. More details here

✔️ What conferencing tools do you support?

MeetGeek supports all three major platforms including Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. If you don’t use any of these, you can still upload audio or video files and obtain similar results. MeetGeek works with any account (free or paid) associated with these platforms. At the moment, for MS Teams you need a business account.

✔️ Which tools can you integrate with?

We currently support many native integrations and 10,000+ other apps through Zapier. We always add more integrations and encourage you to vote/comment on your favorite one here.

Check out more details on how to set up integrations here.

✔️ Why do you request my calendar info?

Calendar data is mainly used for:

  • Enabling the Notetaker to automatically join your scheduled meetings

  • Automatic sharing with teammates or customers (depending on your settings)

  • Meeting insights (e.g. the participation ratio in a meeting).

You can always turn MeetGeek off from any of your meetings. Check more details here.

MeetGeek supports high accuracy for English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Arabic, and other languages and offers a wide spectrum of languages in Beta mode. Check out the full list of supported languages here

✔️ What happens after the hours in the plan are depleted?

If you deplete your monthly hours allocated for your account we will issue an invoice to you at the cost of $0.6 per extra hour of recording. Hours are reallocated each month, at the contractual date, which is dependent on the date when you activated your account.

The most effective way to contact us is via messenger. You can also write to us at [email protected] for support issues or [email protected] for general inquiries.

✔️ How do I manage plans for my company?

You maximize the benefits of the MeetGeek meeting assistant when it is used across your entire company and in every department. You have the flexibility to mix and match free and paid subscriptions based on the number of calls each team member handles and whether some colleagues need access to meeting content without the ability to record. For guidance on managing multiple licenses for your team, please check out the guide 'Manage Plans & Subscriptions'.

✔️ Does MeetGeek learn over time?

We are continuously working on enhancing MeetGeek to learn from your usage over time, aiming to provide a more personalized experience. While we use meeting metadata to improve our service, we do not process your transcript, video, or audio data unless you explicitly opt-in. We run a program with several companies to further refine the experience and AI capabilities, and to deliver updates periodically. If you are interested in being part of this program, please reach out.
