SharePoint Quickstart Guide

Connect SharePoint to MeetGeek to save meeting notes, summaries, and transcripts to the site, library, and folder you choose.

Written by Carolline Miranda

SharePoint integrates with MeetGeek to save your meeting notes, AI summary, and full transcript as a document in the SharePoint site, library, and folder you choose. Sync a past meeting on demand, or set a workflow to file every future call automatically, so client calls land on the client site and standups land on the team site.

Files follow your existing SharePoint permissions, and they're searchable in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Copilot like any other document.

In this guide:

Connect SharePoint to MeetGeek

  1. In the MeetGeek dashboard, go to the Integrations & Automations page and click the SharePoint card.

  2. Click Connect.

  3. Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account and grant permission. The integration is now active.

Note: MeetGeek uses your own Microsoft sign-in, so it can only see and save to the sites and libraries you already have access to. If your organization restricts third-party apps, a Microsoft 365 admin may need to approve MeetGeek first.

Set up an automated workflow

A workflow saves each meeting's notes, summary, and transcript to SharePoint automatically, right after the call is analyzed.

Note: Automated workflows are included in the paid MeetGeek plans, starting from Pro.

  1. Go to the Workflows tab.

  2. Select SharePoint in the Send to field.

  3. Choose the site, library, and folder where documents should be saved.

  4. (Optional) Enter a name pattern in Which name contains (e.g. "Acme"). Leave it empty to include every meeting.

  5. Click Save workflow.

After your next matching meeting, a document with the notes, summary, and transcript appears in the folder you chose.

Tip: Create one workflow per destination to file meetings by project. For example, send meetings containing "Acme" to the Acme folder on your Clients site, and meetings containing "Standup" to your team site.

Share a past meeting manually

  1. Open the meeting you want to share.

  2. At the top of the Transcript view, click Share on SharePoint.

  3. Paste the link in a new tab to open the newly created document in SharePoint.

Use SharePoint in AI Chat and Meeting Skills

Once SharePoint is connected as an app in MeetGeek, your documents can be part of AI answers and automations:

  • Answers grounded in your documents. Ask AI Chat about a meeting and MeetGeek can pull in the proposal, brief, or contract stored in SharePoint, not only what was said in the call.

  • Save exactly what you need. Ask AI Chat to file a recap or action items in a specific place, e.g. "Save today's recap to the Acme folder on our Clients site."

  • Routines that file themselves. Add SharePoint to a Meeting Skill, e.g. "After every client call, save the recap to that client's folder," and it runs every time.

  • Lists that stay current. Log decisions and action items straight into a SharePoint list, such as a project tracker or client log.

Disconnect SharePoint

  1. Go to the Integrations & Automations page and find SharePoint in your connected apps.

  2. Go to Settings > Disconnect > Save.

Note: Disconnecting removes all workflows set for SharePoint in MeetGeek. Documents already saved to SharePoint stay where they are.
