With the WhatsApp integration, MeetGeek can automatically send meeting summaries to your WhatsApp and also let you interact with your meetings directly via chat. You can ask questions about past conversations and trigger actions across your connected tools, all from WhatsApp.
This guide walks you through how to connect WhatsApp and set up workflows, as well as how to use it as an interface for your meeting data.

Setting Up WhatsApp Workflows
Once WhatsApp is connected, you can create automated workflows to control what meeting content gets sent to your WhatsApp number.
Creating a Workflow
On the Integrations & Automations page, click the Workflows tab.
Click Create new workflow.
Configure the workflow:
Given a: Choose Meeting (to send the full meeting summary)
Which name contains: Enter a keyword to filter which meetings trigger this workflow. Leave empty to include all meetings.
Send to: Select WhatsApp.
Configure any additional filters or options as needed.
Click Save workflow.
Going forward, MeetGeek will automatically send meeting content to your WhatsApp based on the workflow rules you've configured.
Example Workflows
Send all meeting summaries to WhatsApp:
Given a: Meeting
Which name contains: (leave empty)
Send to: WhatsApp
Send only client call summaries:
Given a: Meeting
Which name contains: "Client"
Send to: WhatsApp
Important: The "Which name contains" field is case-sensitive. Make sure the keyword matches the meeting name exactly.
Using WhatsApp as a Meeting Assistant
Beyond receiving summaries, you can use WhatsApp as a chat interface for your meetings.
Ask Questions About Your Meetings
You can message MeetGeek directly in WhatsApp to retrieve insights across your meetings. For example:
“What did the client say about pricing?”
“Summarize my last sales call”
“What were the key action items from yesterday’s meetings?”
MeetGeek will search across your meeting history and respond with relevant answers and context.
Trigger Actions in Other Tools
You can also use WhatsApp to take action on meeting insights and sync them with your connected apps. For example:
“Create tasks from this meeting in Notion”
“Add action items to Asana”
“Send this summary to Slack”
These actions rely on your existing integrations and workflows, allowing you to move from insight to execution without leaving WhatsApp.
Disconnecting WhatsApp
To disconnect the WhatsApp integration and remove all associated workflows:
Go to the Integrations & Automations page.
Find WhatsApp in the list of connected apps.
Go to Settings and click the Disconnect button.
Click Save to confirm.
Note: Disconnecting WhatsApp from the Integrations page will delete all workflows set for WhatsApp in MeetGeek.
