Trello Quickstart Guide

Connect Trello to MeetGeek to turn meetings and highlights into Trello cards automatically.

Written by Dan Huru

Trello integrates with MeetGeek so your meetings and highlights turn into Trello cards automatically. Connect your boards, then create a card from a specific highlight on demand or set a workflow to add a card for every matching meeting the moment it's analyzed.

In this guide:

Connect Trello to MeetGeek

  1. In the MeetGeek dashboard, go to the Integrations & Automations page and click the Trello card.

  1. Click Connect.

  2. Grant permissions to the boards you want to use. The integration is now active.

Add meetings and highlights automatically

A workflow creates a Trello card from meetings or highlights automatically, right after each call is analyzed.

Note: Automated workflows are included in the paid MeetGeek plans, starting from Pro.

  1. Go to the Workflows tab.

  2. Choose whether to share a meeting or a highlight.

  3. In Which name contains, enter a name pattern (e.g. "Demo Call"). Leave it empty to include every meeting or highlight.

  4. Set Trello in the Send to field and pick a board and column from the dropdown.

  5. Click Save workflow.

Any future meeting or highlight that matches the pattern appears in Trello as soon as that meeting is analyzed.

Share a past meeting manually

To create a Trello card from a single highlight without a workflow:

  1. Open a past meeting from your Past Meetings page.

  2. In the Summary view, hover over a highlight to reveal its contextual buttons.

  3. Click Share meeting.

  4. Click the Trello logo and pick a board and column from the dropdown.

A new card is created on your board, like this:

Disconnect Trello

  1. Go to the Integrations & Automations page and find Trello in your connected apps.

  2. Go to Settings > Disconnect > Save.

Note: Disconnecting removes all workflows set for Trello in MeetGeek.
