Meeting Skills are MeetGeek's newest way to make sure a meeting doesn't end with notes. It ends with action. This guide covers what Meeting Skills are, how they run, and how to pick the right ones for your role and team.
Specifically, we will review:
What is a Meeting Skill?
A Meeting Skill is an AI agent that watches a category of your meetings, reads the transcript, and does something useful with it: scores a sales call, drafts a follow-up email, flags a churn risk, or ships a digest to the right channel.
MeetGeek already records and remembers every conversation, so skills act on that memory automatically. No one has to remember to open a tool. The work simply gets done.
A few examples of skills in action:
After every sales call — score the prospect and email you the result
After every client call — draft a follow-up email with the agreed next steps
Every Monday at 8 AM — email you last week's open action items, with owners
Skills only run on the meetings they're built for. MeetGeek detects each meeting's type automatically, so a candidate-screening skill runs on interviews, and stays completely silent on everything else.
How and when do skills run?
This is where your Meeting Skills live, and you can see every skill available to you under the Skills tab.
Every skill uses one of three triggers:
Per Meeting — fires the instant a matching meeting ends. Perfect for follow-ups, recaps, and live scoring. If a meeting doesn't match, the skill produces no output at all — no noise.
Daily digest — runs on weekdays and rolls up the previous day's calls. Monday's run covers the whole weekend, so nothing slips.
Weekly digest — runs Mondays for pattern and rollup reports across the week: coaching, risk, pipeline, and team-wide visibility.
What skills are available?
The Skills Catalog includes 26+ ready-to-deploy templates across 13 role categories, and every template is live and editable today.

Sales Call Scorer (per-call) — scores each prospect on buying signals, with a scorecard, tier, and recommended next step.
Customer Risk Monitor (daily) — consolidated risk signals: churn language, competitor mentions, escalations.
Client Follow-up Engine (per-call) — auto-drafts a follow-up email with specific commitments, deliverables, and next steps.
Candidate Screening Skill (daily) — scores interview transcripts on role criteria, with an A/B/C tier and a ranked digest.
