In this article, we’ll cover how to integrate MeetGeek with Close and automatically or manually share your meeting insights.
With this integration, MeetGeek connects to your Close account, letting you link meetings and highlights to the right deals, accounts, leads and contacts.
How to connect Close CRM with MeetGeek
In the MeetGeek dashboard, go to the Integrations page and click on the Close card.
You will be taken to a screen in Close CRM where you can grant MeetGeek access to your account.
Choose your account and click the Allow button to authorize the connection.
You will then be taken back to the MeetGeek Integrations page.
You're now ready to connect your calls. MeetGeek can now automatically sync your meetings and highlights directly to the appropriate contact, lead, and opportunity in your Close CRM.
Note: MeetGeek automatically looks for existing leads, contacts, and opportunities in your Close CRM. If they don't exist, it will create them automatically. You can control this behavior using the advanced options on your Workflows page.
How to sync past meetings with Close
You can share any past meeting directly to Close CRM with just a few clicks:
Open the meeting in your MeetGeek dashboard.
Click on Share meeting.
Select the Close logo from the list of connected integrations.
The meeting summary and relevant data will be synced to the appropriate record in Close CRM.
How to automatically update Close with meeting assets
If you want MeetGeek to update your Close CRM with meetings or highlight data automatically, you can set up a workflow.
To proceed, head to the Integrations page in your MeetGeek account and enter the Workflows.
Then click 'Create new workflow'.
Choose Close in the 'Send to' field
Choose whether to send:
Meeting: to sync entire meeting summaries, or
Highlight: to send only selected highlights (e.g., next steps).
Contact view:Configure your workflow filters (for example, apply only to meetings whose name contains specific words).
Set your sharing preferences — including whether to create contacts, opportunities and tasks.
Click Save Workflow.
Your upcoming meetings or highlights will now be automatically synced with Close CRM.
Note: The Create tasks option is available only for Meeting workflows. When enabled, MeetGeek will automatically generate reminders for any “Next Steps” captured during the meeting analysis.
