Major Product Update: Enhancing your personalized experience and meeting intelligence with MeetGeek

MeetGeek 2.0 is out of Beta and now available to all MeetGeek users

We are thrilled to announce the launch of MeetGeek 2.0, a major product release featuring a bundle of advanced personalization features designed to enhance your meeting experience.

This release introduces a powerful feature bundle designed to streamline your meetings, provide actionable insights, and save you time by automating tasks. With this product update, we're taking a significant step forward in making your meetings more insightful and tailored to your needs.

What's New in MeetGeek 2.0?

1. Conversation Intelligence at the individual meeting level

Available for users on every subscription plan

AI Meeting Insights is a powerful feature that leverages advanced conversation intelligence to deliver actionable insights from your meetings. We've updated the individual meeting insights page, so now, MeetGeek automatically analyzes your meeting discussions, identifying key themes and assessing your conversations based on metrics like engagement, participation, agenda adherence, and more!

What has changed?

  • Agenda follow-through: MeetGeek now compares the defined meeting agenda with what was actually discussed. This powerful feature helps you understand how well the structure of that call type was followed.

  • Main themes: You can now access a list of the main themes discussed during the call, available not only in English but also in other languages as well.

  • Speaker distribution: Gain better insights into participant engagement with a segmented view of participation by speaker.

  • Quick improvement tips: MeetGeek now highlights the top two things you can improve and the top two things you did best in every meeting, helping you enhance your next meeting right away.

  • Custom KPIs: We enriched the context for custom templates, making the insights for custom-defined KPIs even more accurate and helpful.

To provide these insights, MeetGeek considers several factors:

  • Meeting template (including custom or pre-defined KPIs)

  • Meeting agenda (custom or pre-defined based on the meeting template used for the analysis)

  • The meeting metadata and transcript

Use the insights provided by MeetGeek to make quick adjustments and improve overall meeting performance.

Where to find: You can access meeting insights for each meeting on the individual meeting page under the Insights tab.


2. Meeting summary customization

Available for General Meeting template on the Basic plan. Pro & Business plans have customization available for every meeting template in the library.

We understand that one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to meeting summaries. That’s why we’re introducing Meeting Summary Customization.

This feature allows you to tailor the structure, content, and length of your meeting summaries to suit your specific needs.

You can define a custom meeting summary structure for each meeting template, customizing both:

- Content: Add new sections or completely restructure the summary. For example, you can define a list of highlights you want to see in the summary email or segment highlights by speaker or owner instead of by topic.

- Formatting: Customize the summary while using Excel tables, logos, bullet lists, and more. You can also use your own previous meeting minutes email as a template, allowing the AI to generate a similar summary for each new meeting.

Where to find: Custom summaries are created at the template level. To create or edit the email structure, go to Personalization → Meeting Templates → Custom Summary.

Note: A custom-defined summary email can now be sent from the 'Summary' tab of each specific meeting page only. If you use the automatic email-sharing option, you and the users with whom you share the summary will receive the default, not the custom, summary email.


3. Automatic application of meeting templates

Available on Pro & Business subscription plans

MeetGeek simplifies your meeting setup process with the Auto-Apply Templates feature.

When activated, you no longer need to manually select the right template for different types of calls. MeetGeek will analyze your conversation and automatically apply the template that best fits the meeting content.

This, in turn, will improve the summaries of your meetings, ensuring they focus on and highlight key information specific to that particular call type.

Additionally, please note that different meeting templates have unique KPIs that are considered by Conversation Intelligence when calculating the insights and metrics of your meeting performance.

Where to find: Activate auto-detection of templates in the Settings for all meetings, or choose it for specific meetings on the Upcoming page by clicking the gear icon next to the meeting.


4. Title generation for ad-hoc meetings

Available for users on every subscription plan

Spontaneous meetings often lack proper documentation, which can lead to confusion when you need to refer back to the conversation later. With Auto-Generate Titles for Ad-Hoc Meetings, MeetGeek automatically creates relevant titles for your impromptu meetings based on the discussion content.

Auto-generated titles work for both virtual meetings and offline conversations recorded with MeetGeek mobile apps or directly uploaded to the web app (from the Uploads page).

Where to find: Activated automatically to every account.
